Aldergrove Real Estate

The alder tree has given its name to a number of communities in the English speaking world, and Edmonton is not an exception. The community of Aldergrove is located on the city’s western edge and borders on Whitemud Drive, Anthony Henday Drive, 87th Avenue, and 178th Street. While the community itself peaked in residential and non-residential development in the 1970s and 1980s, the city around it has since undergone major changes, which has resulted in new educational and commercial establishments, as well as community connections, for Aldergrove residents. The real estate in Aldergrove is quite diverse and includes single family homes, low rise apartment buildings, row houses and other types. Two local parks provide ample opportunities for outdoor recreation the year around, while nearby arterial roadways connect the Aldergrove homes to anywhere else in the city without making local roads congested.
